One of my favorite experiences recently occured when I had to cancel my clinic due to an injury. A friend and client called me asking if I could still see her due to pain related to an injury she had just sustained.
I invited her to stop by my house for a quick treatment. I knew I couldn’t work for long, but hoped I could manage 20-30 minutes.
She came by and I had her sit in our recliner in the living room. There I had good access to her shoulder and was able to give her a fine Ancestral Hands On Healing treatment in a comfortable position for both of us. During the treatment, she mentioned she was worried about her daughter who had the flu. I offered her some of the elderberry syrup I make and keep on hand.
When her treatment was complete and she felt much relieved, I packed up the elderberry syrup, some fire cider, and a tincture to strengthen immunity. As I waved good bye to her, I felt a thrill. I love my office and my practice, but the thrill of hosting a client in my house and sending her home with my family tinctures and herbal concoctions made me feel like an old time midwife and healer. It’s the same work I do in my office but in my home it felt a little homier, I guess.
Anyway, I am back in the clinic, providing Ancestral Hands on Healing, craniosacral therapy, and general health care and midwifery, as usual. I am having the time of my life. Come join me, if you want a lovely healing experience.
And, of course, I also do pelvic floor work and diastasis recti care, but not usually in the recliner in my living room. I think you will have to come to my office for that.
Looking forward to seeing you!
